A piece of work first given an airing at Ensemble 52's Scratch@Fruit event will be developed into a full-length play.

An excerpt from Hull writer Joe Hakim's Black Out was showcased at Fruit in October. Joe has subsequently been awarded a seed commission as part of Greyscale Theatre Company and Hull Truck's Bulb initiative.

Joe will now be mentored by Greyscale and the play will be given a performance at Greyscale/Hull Truck‘s Theatre Brothel in autumn 2012.
